I’d heard excellent reports about CAMBRIDGE SCIENCES so I felt confident picking this one.

    The Good:
THE PRICE! This was a huge plus as I did not want to spend over £200 for an internet tablet.
When it arrived, I was very impressed with the presentation box for a start (I think you can tell a lot about a product by the way it is presented).
On opening the box, I was pleasantly surprised with the 3-pin UK charger. So I did not need an adapter to plug it in.
The instruction manual was comprehensive and easy to use. Sometimes, it’s like you need a degree in Computer Sciences to learn how to use something when the manual is like an encyclopedia. This one was brilliant and easy to use and it covered all the things you want to do in an easy to use manner.
Charges very quickly and starting up the software there was no delay at all (You have to flick a little switch on the side before turning on the device).

Once powered on, the capacitive touch screen is a dream. It’s a glass screen rather than plastic so it’s incredibly responsive and feels just like the touch response on my iPhone. I got a keyboard with it to make typing easier, but the on-screen keyboard is fantastic unlike some on-screen keyboards I had tried before where you press on one key and a different letter appears in your document. With this one, there’s no need for my external keyboard at all. It’s that good.

First thing is to connect to the internet (that’s why we all buy these things really). The WiFi signal strength is HUGE. I can pick up my signal from the bottom of the garden and it can see my neighbours’ WiFi from several doors down the street.

It seems to have the full Android Market as I can find every app I have searched for so far.

Another fantastic feature is the Flash player. I like watching web videos (BBC iPlayer, YouTube etc.) and the flash player is just brilliant.
So far, I have been able to watch every single video file on my MicroSD card and it plays a huge array of formats so this will be a great device for those long plane trips. The kids already want 1 each….

I have charged and discharged the battery twice already and it keeps getting better with every full charge. I’m really pleased with the battery life. I’ve managed to watch 3 full movies on 1 charge alone.

    The Bad:
Nothing in life is perfect, but I’m struggling to find anything wrong with this. The only thing I could think of was the weight. But then the screen is glass so it’s a little bit heavier than if it was a plastic screen. But then a plastic screen would scratch easily unlike the glass screen. So I can’t fault this device no matter how hard I try.

    Summary:
    WHAT A BUY!

Before I ordered this I poured over & over many reviews. I eventually decided to order this, as it came within my budget & did what I wanted it to do, which I’m very glad I did. The tablet exceeds my expectations, doing evrything it’s claimed to. The screen is a dream to use the wifi connectivity is great Everywhere but my own house (think its a problem with my router)comes with 2 usb leads & a charger. My brother in law has an iPad & I reckon my tablet is just as good. The only slight problem I had, this being my first foray into Android was that I only got the 2 paper manuals which are pretty sparse. I contacted Quality stores thro’ Amazon & received a reply within a few hours appologising, as the full Android manual should have been preloaded o the tablet, but they offered to email it to me. Unfortunately Amazon kept blocking out my email address & theirs, but after several tries they phoned me I gave them my email address & had the full manual by return. In my view great customer service is not not having to use it, but when you do you get dedication & helpfullness like I received. I would certainly recomend the product & the excellent service I received. I would have no hesitation in buying from them again.
